Intro to Astrophotography

Join Elliot Maddox, astrophotographer, to learn more about capturing the night sky with photography.

Elliot is an astrophotographer originally from Long Island, NY, now living in the Rochester area for the past 8 years. He started astrophotography after he graduated from High School in 2008 with a camera gifted to him by his parents, and has been photographing the night sky ever since.

This event is part of a two-day Perseid Fest at the RMSC Museum & Science Center and Strasenburgh Planetarium. Join us Friday and Saturday, day or night, to learn more about meteor showers, astronomy, and observing the cosmos.
