Spring 2026 Artists:
*Luna Holt*
Luna will use their time at COMP Studios to create an intimate piece relaying the nuanced experiences between trauma and joy, through a queer lens. Not just the intense scenarios, but aspect’s everyday life. These abstract pieces will be mixed media, with each part’s medium reflecting its message and experience.
*Sabrina Nichols*
Sabrina will use her time at COMP Studios to complete 3-4 looping animations, combined with some sound design, to make an experiential room- walls filled with projected visuals, and at least one sculpture with animation projection-mapped onto it. The subject of the visuals will play on propaganda messages and industrial warnings, but convey an ironic message that warns not to speak out against injustice.
