Chaotic Good: Let's Get Knotty with Macrame(Rochester Queer Arts Festival)

Have you ever seen macrame and thought, “I bet I could do that.” Maybe this demo is what you need to get started. One of the most foundational skills is learn about the unique types of cord you can use and their benefits and drawbacks. I will explain what I have learned through trial and error and learning about fibers (I never thought this would be something I nerd out about but here we are). This might sound boring but I will let you touch stuff and see how the basic knots work with each cord type. Come get knotty with me.
