FOUR DAYS… FOUR DIFFERENT SHOWS!!
Stéphane Wrembel – The Art of Guitar Concert Series:
Celebrating 25 years of music in America!
Stéphane Wrembel will explore every aspect of the guitar, from the most intimate and intricate sounds to the most explosive and virtuosic possibilities. He brought to America the distinctive style of Django Reinhardt, pioneering what is now known as “Gypsy Jazz.” Beyond his mastery of this tradition, he has integrated the vernacular genres of American and world music — from jazz and rock to the sounds of India and Africa, and the haunting, mysterious tones of the Middle Eastern oud. Over four nights you’ll experience the full spectrum of his unique musical universe.

Two guitars allow the instrument to breathe and reveal its many facets. Expect Django pieces and original songs alongside unexpected covers and new material. This format pays homage to historic duos like Al Di Meola and Paco de Lucía, John McLaughlin and Larry Coryell, and Bireli Lagrene and Sylvain Luc. Nowhere else does the guitar speak so fully, its sometimes shy voice resonating deep within the soul.

The journey draws on the nomadic heart of humanity; whether in the Sahara Desert or the streets of France, there’s a traveler in every soul.
