On Your Marks, Get Set, Assemble Your Puzzle!
It’s a race against the clock — and your fellow puzzlers! Teams compete to be the first to finish a 500-piece puzzle. The first team to complete their puzzle will win a prize, and every team gets to take their puzzle home at the end of the day!
* Teams consist of 2 - 4 people, ages 7+, with at least one adult.
* Each team receives the same puzzle
* No one sees the puzzle before the timer begins
* If there is no declared winner by 11:45 am, the winner will be determined by the remaining number of loose pieces. Loose pieces are defined as anything not connected to the main puzzle.
* No devices or outside assistance permitted
* Individuals are not allowed to distract or approach team tables while the competition is in progress. Violation of this rule will result in team disqualification.
* Due to space limitations, spectators are not allowed at this event
This event is limited to eight teams. Only one team member needs to register, but all team members should be listed in the space provided.
Summer Reading Activities are "extras" - programs, presentations, and special events hosted by the library - designed to complement the reading goals of our annual summer reading challenges. Participating in these special programs earns additional badges in Beanstack and additional tickets for the ticket drawing prizes!
For Secret Code Word activities, be sure to look for the sign with the secret code word or ask a library staff member during the program!
