Bring the whole family to celebrate during Independence weekend at River’s Edge South. This FREE Festival will have inflatables, trampolines, and more! Hang out and enjoy FREE Music until 9:30 PM with Chasin' Aldean - The Jason Aldean Experience, Yacht Rock favorites Empty Bottles, and the Troublesome Blues Band. There will be beer for sale and a variety of food truck options all day.

Starting at 9:30 PM
Look to the sky above River’s Edge North for a 15-minute firework show starting at 9:30 PM. Spectators may gather at River’s Edge South for easy viewing but be sure you read the FAQs for information on road and park closures that day to help you navigate to the show.
NEW THIS YEAR: The Virginia American Revolution 250 Comission will be bringing their Mobile Museum Experience, a hands-on, interactive, and immersive “museum on wheels,” the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled “Out of Many, One” is housed in a quad-expandable tractor trailer that is traveling throughout Virginia and beyond. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs, and more, highlighting every region of the state.
