For someone experiencing mobility issues, access involved difficulties, with street and sidewalk blockages and parking restrictions in the area. The lack of shuttles this year was another obstacle. I parked on Reserve Avenue after a lot attendant told me exactly where that was permitted. The walk from there to the venue near the other end of the street was tiring even with assistance of a cane. The stage was clearly visible except for a period when several men stood a few feet directly in front of my chair. The musical selections were varied and well-performed. I had never heard of any of the bands or individuals onstage before. I didn't visit any of the Carilion tables, food trucks, or merchandise vendors, and cannot comment on them. While the weather was good and it never rained, the sun was hot, and I was grateful when the shade from nearby trees crept over me after somewhat less than an hour.
