About the event

Little Paleta Cart Anniversary Workshop with Cheech Collects artist, David Flury

Join us for an exciting workshop in celebration of our 3rd anniversary with Cheech Collects artist, David Flury.

David is a self-taught artist from South Los Angeles, whose work is influenced by Barrio graffiti, Chicano artists, and Mexican Masters. A former artist-in-residence and current teaching artist at Plaza de la Raza, David will lead this workshop inspired by paleteros and their vibrant paleta carts.

Join us for a day of fun to create in community. In this workshop, participants will be supplied their own "bare bones" wooden paleta cart built by David, to paint, draw, and color on.

There will be two sessions:
Session 1: 12:30-1:30
Session 2: 2:00-3:00
