COMING UP AT BHMVA — Join us Saturday, June 21st from 2–4 PM for Searching for Jimmie Strother, a powerful program led by author, historian, and musician Gregg D. Kimball.

Together, we’ll explore the life and legacy of James Lee “Jimmie” Strother—a blind Virginia musician whose raw, moving songs captured both hardship and heritage. The program includes live performances of Strother’s music, bringing his voice and story to life once more.

Free and open to the public. Come experience a chapter of Virginia’s musical legacy that still echoes today!
