Featuring a block party with merchants coordinated by:
Richmond Moon Market
As well as the opening of the exhibition Pirate Radio with works by: Silly Genius, Noah Scalin, Barf Comics & Stachesquatch.
WRIR Pirate Radio is a group of mixed media works from the minds of Erek “Stachesqatch” Jones, James “Barf” Callahan, Noah Scalin, and SillyGenius. Reimagining WRIR as a pirate radio station operated by a cast of fantastical characters reminiscent of the Gorillaz, Jet Set Radio, Richmond’s own musical history and the history of pirate radio, this show invites you to reflect on 20 years of WRIR in Richmond, its impact on the city’s culture, and envision the possibilities the station presents for the future of our creative community.

Also on the block: Art180 block party!
The ART 180 Block Party is a neighborhood-wide celebration of creativity, community, and collective joy—rooted in intergenerational knowledge-sharing and inspired by the legacy of Richmond changemakers like John Mitchell Jr., Maggie Walker, and Ethel Bailey Furman.
This year, we’re filling the block with youth-led art activities, live music, DJs, local food trucks, yoga in the street, a Maker Space, and performances that transform the block with a palpable creative BUZZ.
Inside our Atlas Gallery, Office Hours brings together Richmond’s boldest creatives, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders for free, one-on-one 10-minute advice sessions. Designed for young people and open to the broader community, Office Hours offers real talk and practical insight—no gatekeeping, just growth.
