Join Girls For A Change for our annual Black Girl Showcase, a vibrant celebration of the creativity, brilliance, and boldness of the girls who participated in our programs this year.

This event will highlight powerful student projects, celebrate community leaders, and bring local businesses and changemakers together for an afternoon of learning, joy, and support.

Angela Patton, CEO of Girls For A Change & Co-Director of will join Nikki Porcher, Founder of Buy From a Black Woman. Together, they’ll explore the intersection of entrepreneurship, leadership, and community impact.

• See our participants showcase their after-school projects from GFAC fall and spring programs
• Shop from our Black-women-owned vendor marketplace
• Two vendors will be selected by our Immersion Lab youth and Nikki Porcher to receive a FREE annual Buy From a Black Woman Directory membership ($175 value).
• Raffles: Win products from Buy From a Black Woman vendors: $10 per ticket / $75 for 10 tickets (bulk buy = better chance to win!). Proceeds will benefit the Girls For A Change Building Fund.

Set-up begins at 9:00 AM.

Note: The vendor market will pause for the fireside chat (1:00–2:15 PM).

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Vendor Marketplace Open
1:00 PM – 2:15 PM: Fireside Chat + Participant Recognition
2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Showcase Exhibits + Vendor Marketplace Reopens
3:30 PM: Raffle Drawing
4:00 PM: Market closes / Final celebration
