Join us for the official opening of our all-new feature exhibit Cannery REcollections: Redefining Storytelling through Objects. What is the significance of the objects we keep in our lives? How do museum collect objects, and why are the stories they tell worth sharing? Cannery REcollections: Redefining Storytelling through Objects explores how everyday items serve as touchstones connecting us to people, places, and moments in time, revealing the many ways we experience and interpret history.

The official opening event will include musical performances from Willy Blizzard, an introduction to the exhibit from Collections & Exhibits Manager Heidi Rampfl, and first-look access to the all-new interactive exhibit! Add your voice to the exhibit by selecting and photographing a meaningful object, chat with the Cannery Crew, and consider the role of objects in sharing meaningful stories and experiences.
