VANPLA is Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, and we are going back to our community roots.
Our May 2025 VANPLA monthly meeting will take place on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, at Aberdeen Square Food Court from
1 pm to 4 pm (or until we are asked to leave).
Hosted by Z Workshop and Hobbies (in Aberdeen Square).

2025 VANPLA Newtype memberships will be available for the price of $15.
Newtype memberships provide VANPLA members with a 10% discount (or more) to participating VANPLA sponsors. Please direct any questions to any VANPLA executive members or come by to sign up!
Every month, VANPLA members get together for a build and socialize meetup. Usual activities include:
- kits building (bring your kits and tools)
- show your proud completed work
- technique coaching (feel free to ask)
- demos and workshops
- group build/event discussion
- meet new people, chill, and enjoy socializing (but please, keep your social distancing in check)
We invite everyone to join. No membership/fee is required.

Support the VANPLA Community by keeping it positive in the public eye.
Please support the Food stall merchants.
Clean up after yourself.
Watch your language – remember we are out in public, potentially with young children.
Sit with a “Buddy” to help minimize your stuff from disappearing.
You will be responsible for the security of your own items.
VANPLA will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
If you are feeling sick - please, do not come to the event and stay home. Masks are optional.
