The Coalition Theater proudly presents the 8th Annual 2ND BEST FEST—a three-day comedy extravaganza showcasing the best in improv, sketch, and stand-up. Running June 5–7, this year’s festival brings high-caliber acts from LA, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore, Raleigh, DC, and RVA to four incredible venues in Richmond’s Downtown Arts District.

Saturday night at Gallery 5 brings a powerhouse stand-up lineup. Your host for the evening, Kimberly R. Nario, kicks things off, followed by Randolph Washington, Jr. Headliner Chloe Radcliffe takes the stage - recently named one of Deadline’s “15 Comedians Ready to Break Out in 2025”.

Kimberly R. Nario is a Richmond-based comic who loves state-level political drama and coming up with podcast ideas. She produces Still Life, a monthly improvised two-act play and performs with Can't Hardly Date, both at the Coalition Theater. Deep down inside, she's just a theatre kid trying to get those ITS points.

Randolph Washington, Jr. has been performing stand-up comedy for 4 years all around the DMV area and spent the past year TA-ing for classes at Coalition Theater. A Charlottesville native, Randolph also runs and hosts comedy shows with the Richmond production team, Traverse Comedy.

Chloe Radcliffe

Hailing from the Midwest and proud of it, standup and actor Chloe Radcliffe recently led the New York Times’ list of recommended shows at the 2024 New York Comedy Festival. She was named one of Deadline’s 15 Comedians Ready To Break Out In 2025, and one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should And Will Know.

Located in Richmond's Downtown Arts District, the nonprofit Coalition Theater is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where laughter connects people. Through performances, classes, workshops, and community partnerships, we help individuals discover their comedic voice and provide a welcoming platform to share it.
