2ND BEST FEST / Mouth Stuff, BABE / Gallery 5

The Coalition Theater proudly presents the 8th Annual 2ND BEST FEST—a three-day comedy extravaganza showcasing the best in improv, sketch, and stand-up. Running June 5–7, this year’s festival brings high-caliber acts from LA, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore, Raleigh, DC, and RVA to four incredible venues in Richmond’s Downtown Arts District.

Gallery 5 gets weird with this 6pm show. First, BABE takes you on a wild ride through space, time, and comedy, driven by two fearless improvisers. Then Mouth Stuff gets personal, sharing their stories and turning them into improv.

Two weirdos who travel through space and time to deliver you an inter-dimensional improv show that will have you on the edge of your seat, asking yourself, "what the hell is going to happen next?!".

Mouth Stuff is a group of friends from Baltimore that love to share their deep, personal, occasionally traumatic stories with you and turn them into silly make 'em ups that could very well end in someone's death...or worse.

Located in Richmond's Downtown Arts District, the nonprofit Coalition Theater is dedicated to creating an inclusive space where laughter connects people. Through performances, classes, workshops, and community partnerships, we help individuals discover their comedic voice and provide a welcoming platform to share it.

Proceeds from 2ND BEST FEST directly support this mission, funding performances, comedic education, and community outreach initiatives.
