Let it out: A Sharing Circle for Activists
Round-table, Sunday, May 4, 12:00-13:00
The third day of Other-Grounds Film Festival is dedicated to the Passing Down Knowledge and will host a roundtable on climate anxiety.
Let It Out is a facilitated sharing circle designed for activists to connect through emotional release, reflection, and communal care. This space invites participants to step away from the urgency of action and sit with the emotional weight of the work we carry.
Through grounding practices, guided reflection and optional sharing, we’ll hold space for whatever surfaces — whether it's grief, frustration, hope, or exhaustion. This is not a place for problem-solving, but for simply feeling, witnessing, and being witnessed.
Let’s make room for emotional vulnerability in the heart of activism — because caring for ourselves and each other is part of the work.
Held by: Laura Sólveig Lefort Scheefer and Bára Örk Melsted
