🥪 Free Summer Sack Lunches – Brought to You by Community Kitchen of Republic
This summer, Community Kitchen is proud to continue our mission of serving the families of Republic with FREE grab-and-go sack lunches for children and teens. These simple, nutritious meals are available with no sign-up, no income requirements, and no questions asked.
We’ll be distributing lunches directly to several neighborhoods across Republic every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, beginning June 24 through August 15, 2025.
📍 Distribution Locations & Times (June 23 – August 15, 2025):
🚗 Team 1 – Main St & Anderson + Alpine Village
📌 Main St & Anderson (under the tree near the funeral home): 11:15 AM – 11:40 AM
📌 Alpine Village (grassy area across from the bar): 11:50 AM – 12:15 PM
🚗 Team 2 – Republic Apartments + Sonshine Manor
📌 Republic Apartments (east drive past Hines Street Pharmacy): 11:15 AM – 11:45 AM
📌 Sonshine Manor (Cottonwood & Rosewood near the water tower): 11:50 AM – 12:15 PM
📅 Distribution takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
🕓 Volunteer Hours: 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM (includes pick-up and travel time)
Simply stop by one of these sites during the time listed and grab a lunch for your child or teen. You’ll see our friendly volunteers, yard signs, and coolers ready to serve.
🥤 What’s in a Sack Lunch?
Each bag is thoughtfully packed and includes rotating snacks. Sacks may include:
PB&J Sandwich/Cheese Sandwich
Chips
Granola Bar
Pudding Cup
Fruit
Juice
⚠️ Nut Allergy Accommodations:
We will have cheese sandwiches reserved specifically for individuals with nut allergies. These will only be provided to families who indicate that a child has a documented nut allergy.
We will also offer nut-free sack lunches upon request to ensure safe options are available.
❗PLEASE use caution and check the ingredient labels on all snack items before giving them to a child with food allergies or sensitivities. While we do our best to provide clear options, we recommend that caregivers verify ingredients for safety.
We believe that caring for our community starts with feeding it, and we’re honored to serve you this summer. Whether it’s one lunch or many, our goal is simple: to help fill the gap and bring a smile.
