“The Greenville Tango Experiment”
Why Tango? We love Tango and want to share it with more people in our local community!
Why “experiment”? We aren’t sure where this will go, but we want to give it a try and explore it with all of you!
What: 7:00p - 8:00p regularly occurring sliding scale workshop ($10-$30) and practica 8:00p - 9:30p.
Private Lessons: Reach out to one of our hosts if you’d like to schedule a private lesson or if funds are an issue! Cash at the door preferred. Private lessons (1 hr, $100, and 1-4 people) available day of.
When: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays
Where: Gracie’s home studio in Duncan, SC. Reach out to a host for the address. Home does have pets. Please park by the pool house, there are no tags / pass needed. The house is a two minute walk.
Who: Allison and Gracie are Greenville dancers who love Tango and want to share it with you! Mike is a Tango instructor from Asheville who has graciously agreed to bring his passion for Tango to Greenville to share it with us.
Mike Eblen has been dancing and teaching tango for the past eighteen years and has taught in many major cities across the United States, including New York City NY, Seattle WA, Portland OR, San Diego CA, Ann Arbor MI, and Los Angeles CA to name a few. He is known for connecting with his students through his use of comedy and tough love. His teaching puts a strong emphasis on connection and musicality and how to connect those concepts to any level of vocabulary that his student is comfortable with.
