Shackleton Trio guests at Dreamers Folk Club

Dreamers are proud to welcome the Shackleton Trio - they are Georgia Shackleton (fiddle, vocals), Aaren Bennett (guitar) and Nic Zuppardi (mandolin and banjo) Captivating songwriting and fiery tunes that combine striking instrumentals with powerful three part harmonies. The unmistakable sound of The Shackleton Trio brings to life the stories of their native East Anglia, with both traditional and newly written material. The band draw influence from British, American and Scandinavian folk traditions, whilst Georgia’s flair for sourcing largely unsung material from East Anglia keeps the band firmly rooted in their local tradition. TICKETS £6 on the door. PARKING Dreamers has permission to use the Methodist Church Car Park which is on the same side of the road as the pub, about 100 yards in the Redruth direction. To use it you will need a permit which you can get at the club. Just park up, come into the pub, pick up a permit from the Dreamers front desk and pop back to put it behind your front windscreen
