BILL CARTY lives in Seattle and is the author of We Sailed on the Lake (Bunny Presse/Fonograf Editions, 2023) and Huge Cloudy (Octopus Books, 2019), which was longlisted for the Believer Book Award. JUAN CARLOS REYES’s poems, stories, and essays have appeared in Florida Review, Waccamaw Journal, Hawai‘i Review, and elsewhere. His debut fiction collection, Three Alarm Fire (Hinton, 2024) has been called “surreal and unsettling” by NPR. He has received the Gar LaSalle Artist Trust Storyteller Award and PEN USA Emerging Voices Fellowship. He serves as an associate professor of creative writing at Seattle University.
