In 1998, Robert Foley Vineyards debuted its flagship Claret, kicking off a new era of growth and diversity in its portfolio—particularly with bold, expressive reds. Winemaker Robert Foley, affectionately known as Bob, has become celebrated for his rich, palate-pleasing wines that exude character and finesse. Located on Howell Mountain in Napa County, his winery boasts an impressive cave system housing over 1,500 barrels, all dedicated to crafting Robert Foley’s signature wines. With dual degrees in viticulture and enology from UC Davis, Bob’s deep-rooted expertise is evident in every bottle. Having played a key role in founding several esteemed Napa Valley wineries and producing over 40 vintages of 90+ point wines, it’s no wonder he’s earned the nickname “The God of Cabernet.”
