Join us Wednesdays this summer at the Poe Center’s PlayWELL Park for lunch (provided at no cost for you) and fun health-themed activities.
Every Wednesday from June 25th through July 30th between 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Summer is the hungriest time of the year for many kids. Students rely heavily on meals served at school throughout the year. Free meal programs, like the Poe Center offers, help fill the gaps when school is out during the summer.
Thanks to funding from the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which serves over 1.5 million North Carolinians, the Poe Center is able to feed over 300 local children during the summer. #SNAPEdWorks
