The Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley (WRCNRV) Inclusion Council will host a day of joy, connection, and celebration at the Annual WRCNRV Pride Picnic, a free, all ages community event honoring Pride Month, Juneteenth, and National Safety Month. The event will take place on Friday, June 20 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Shelter 1, Bisset Park, Radford, VA. This community gathering will feature a PB&J bar, snacks, crafts, games, face painting, and local musician Ash Devine will perform an acoustic set from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. In the spirit of community support, the WRCNRV will be joined by local and state organizations. This is a wonderful opportunity for local nonprofits and organizations to connect with attendees, share resources, and raise awareness for their causes in a festive, inclusive environment. The Radford Pride Parade will also start at Triangle Park on Main Street at 3:00 PM, and the route will end at the WRCNRV’s free celebration at Shelter 1 in Bisset Park.
