January 6th Candlelight Vigil

In 2020, a violent insurrection with the intent to steal the presidency was fomented by Donald Trump. He has now pardoned over 1,500 rioters convicted of crimes such as assault against law enforcement, seditious conspiracy, and weapon possession.

On January 6th, join us at the Rhode Island Statehouse to remember and commemorate the attempted coup on our democracy that occurred five years ago. We'll stand together to reflect on this tragic and shameful day in our nation's history and renew our pledge to work together to protect our democratic institutions.
