Epiclogue přináší začátky, prožívá příběhy a vytváří nové mýty. Skrze koncept neporazitelnosti se umělecké duo pokouší vymezit prostor pro queer tělo jako silné, viditelné a dominantní.
Epiclogue zkoumá, co je třeba – nebo co to stojí – zaujmout prostor, který je jiným samozřejmě přiznáván. Performance se snaží narušit omezující představy o queer těle a reaguje na zkušenost queer existence v cis-heteronormativní společnosti. Před očima se zde odvíjejí intimní setkání, v nichž těla skrze lásku, péči a vzájemnou důvěru nacházejí odvahu a vůli.

Køteren og Terrieren je umělecké duo tvořené Bjørk-Mynte Paulse a Jonathanem Ibsenem. Náš umělecký zájem spočívá ve zpochybňování a nahlížení společenských norem. Skrze perspektivu trans ženy jiné barvy pleti a bílého homosexuálního muže zkoumáme svět, ve kterém žijeme, a snažíme se zasadit otázky genderu, sexuality a identity do širšího kontextu. S otevřeností a nezkrotnou estetikou se věnujeme tématům, která se dotýkají nás všech. Naší ambicí je prostřednictvím choreografie a inscenování reality oslovovat, zpochybňovat a vytvářet prostor pro dialog. Naše praxe vychází ze zvědavosti a vzniká na průsečíku tance, divadla a instalace. Usilujeme o tvorbu umění, které se nebojí otevírat naléhavá současná témata. Naší snahou je bořit bariéry a podporovat hlubší porozumění složitým dynamikám, které formují naše identity i společnost. Naše práce zve diváky k zamýšlení se a rozhovoru o strukturách, které nás definují a omezují – a snaží se otevírat nové perspektivy a možnosti.

Experience a physical and emotional landscape where bodies unite and enclose each other in boundless invincibility. Epiclogue presents beginnings, lives out stories, and creates new myths. Through the concept of invulnerability, the artist duo attempts to carve out space for the queer body as strong, visible, and dominant.
Epiclogue explores what it takes, or perhaps costs, to take up the space that others are granted. The performance seeks to challenge restrictive mindsets about the queer body and is a response to what it means to exist as queer in a cis-heteronormative society. In this piece intimate encounters unfold, where bodies, through love, care, and mutual trust, find courage and will.

Køteren og Terrieren is an artistic duo composed of Bjørk-Mynte Paulse and Jonathan Ibsen. Our artistic interest lies in challenging and questioning societal norms. Through the lens of a trans woman of color and a white homosexual man, we examine the world we live in and aim to contextualize issues surrounding gender, sexuality, and identity. With curiosity and an unfiltered aesthetic, we approach questions that concern us all in an untamed way. Our ambition is to engage, challenge, and create dialogue through choreography and the staging of the reality we inhabit. Our practice is grounded in a curiosity at the intersection of dance, theater, and installation. We are committed to creating art that dares to bring urgent contemporary issues to the forefront. Through our work, we strive to break down barriers and foster a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics that shape our identities and society. Our work invite the audience to participate in a reflection and dialogue on the structures that define and limit us, aiming to open up new perspectives and possibilities.
