Salve-Making Workshop (South Shore Community Centre)

Join Jennifer of Forest & Farm for a hands-on, group-based Workshop, where we will forage for and create some soothing salves!

Each participant will be provided with the materials, supplies, and guidance to learn how to identify several local plant species and craft a small variety of herbal salves using wild ingredients. We’ll discuss sustainable and ethical foraging practices, plant safety, and traditional uses for the ingredients we collect.

Participants will gain direct experience gathering and preparing the medicinal parts of several species, then use those to create nourishing, healing salves to take home. We’ll finish the session with time for Q&A, discussion, and community connection.
