Lead poisoning can occur through exposure to old household paint, drinking water, soil, and certain occupations. Participants will learn about the health effects and common sources of lead exposure and basic prevention measures to limit future exposure. Mold growth occurs in homes with high moisture levels. Participants will learn why mold is growing in their homes and how to safely clean it.
This interactive workshop encourages asking questions or voicing lead-related concerns and resources for additional help to eliminate lead poisoning and mold indoors. Qualified participants will receive a free lead and mold cleaning kit!
This workshop will take place in person at Community Energy Project's Conference Room. Limited parking is available on site, free street parking available.
