Melody Brown is a Portland-based stylist, entrepreneur, and co-founder of L&M Hair Studio. Her love for hair began as a child and grew into a passion for helping people feel confident through luxury hair extensions and natural hair care. Specializing in microlinks, sew-ins, and silk presses, she leads a talented team of licensed professionals skilled in braids, locs, wigs, cuts, and color, with a focus on textured and ethnic hair. After nearly six years in a steady job, Melody took a leap of faith, supported by her husband and family, to follow her dream of owning a salon. Today, L&M Hair Studio is thriving, serving clients locally and from afar. With multiple microlink certifications and a dedication to learning new techniques, Melody is living her dream while helping others embrace theirs.

Alan Beane - Geograde Constructors LLC

Alan Beane is the Owner and President of Geograde Constructors, where he leads with vision, passion, and a commitment to excellence. His journey began as a Field Engineer at Fluor Ames Kraemer, where hands-on experience in the construction industry fueled his ambition to create his own company. Armed with a Master of Science from The Ohio State University, Alan combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership to guide Geograde’s growth. Driven by innovation and a dedication to his team and clients, he continues to build projects and a legacy that inspire confidence and set a standard for excellence.
