The Fourth Annual Overlook Porchfest is upon us on July 19th and 20th! We have coordinated with neighbors to use their porches and venues as stages for musicians, all across Overlook – there will be over 65 acts across over 30 locations, the biggest Porchfest yet!
Porchfest is a beautiful example of people coming together to activate private space into the public realm. It is an opportunity for the Overlook community to open its doors to one another, people all over the city, and musicians who share their gifts to us all. This will also be the first year that we feature workshops and live painters! We’ll have calligraphy, how to build ADUs & tiny homes, permaculture, and arts & crafts workshops.
Our sponsors for this include Double Mountain, Bottles & Cans, Advice Booth, The Gilded Racoon, Old Gold, the City of Portland Community Activities Fund, and The Energy Trust. It is because of their generosity and support that we can create an event that is free and accessible to everyone while ensuring that the artists are paid for their exceptional craft.
