Bodhicitta: The Mind of Enlightenment - with Lama Karma Drodhul

Everyone is welcome to attend this talk on bodhicitta, the mind of enlightenment, which is the aspiration to awakening through wisdom and compassion for all beings. There is no registration for this talk; in-person attendance only. FREE!

Lama Karma Drodhul is a Tibetan Buddhist teacher from East Tibet. He trained at Thrangu Monastery before he was sent to America by Thrangu Rinpoche in order to continue his training under his uncle, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche. Lama Karma then completed two three-year retreats at Karme Ling in upstate New York. He has taught widely in North and South America, and he is the author of two books, 'Amrita of Eloquence' and 'Siddhas of Ga'. He was also the president of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in NY where he is now a resident teacher.

Vajra Vidya Portland is a Tibetan Buddhist meditation center in Portland, Maine, offering programs for beginning meditators as well as continuing practitioners. We are located on the second floor of the State Street Church (entrance inside the courtyard).
