Get ready to race with confidence! Proper warm-ups and cool-downs are key to preventing injury and maximizing performance. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-timer, these stretches and exercises will help you prepare and recover like a pro.

Before the Race: Warm-Up & Stretch

Start strong by getting your muscles ready for action:

1. Light jog/brisk walk – 5-10 minutes to get the blood flowing.


2. Dynamic stretches:

Leg swings (front-to-back and side-to-side)

After the Race: Cool Down & Stretch

Take a few minutes to bring your body back to baseline:

1. Light walk – 5-10 minutes to ease your heart rate down.
