Please, NO REGIFTING from participant gifts of this cruise or giving food from the buffet.
This is one of the fun and exciting ways to get to know our fellow cruisers, even if it is anonymously. Let’s have fun and enjoy something from a place you may not have yet been or watch as your fellow cruisers bring their hidden talents and ideas with a little bit of personality to the gift exchange.
How it Works.
• Sign up for the event by commenting your Name//Hometown//Cabin #
Example: Jewel M, NYC - Cabin 1234
• This exchange of gifts will include all ages. If you submit your child, please also list their age by their name for an appropriate gift.
• If two names are listed on separate lines in the same cabin, then each person gives and receives a gift.
If two names are listed on the same line in the same cabin then only one gift per room because they have chosen to share.
This will be clarified before group selection.
• There will be groups of 5 provided the closing date has that number for each group.
You will receive a list of 5 room #’s that will include yours, so you need only have 4 gifts total to give, Again provided the total number ends in multiples of 5.
• During the week you place a gift outside their door and remember to say who it’s from, with your cabin number.
• There are no rules on days and times of delivery as long as gifts are delivered by the last night before arrival into port.
• Lists with your 5-person group will be created and posted for all participants at least 2 weeks before the sail date so that everyone has time to plan accordingly with luggage weight, purchases, and gift bag arrangement.
• If your cabin # changes prior to sailing, please update the group as soon as possible. If you are not assigned a cabin number as long as you have it by the 2-week cutoff prior to sail date, you may still join. You don’t want your gifts dropped off to the wrong person or cabin.
