May 17: Host Alex Zakem & Feature Beverly Meyer

Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote, "Happiness is a butterfly which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you." We hope you will come and sit down with us (although not necessarily quietly) and let the happiness alight upon you with an evening of acoustic folk and traditional music on Saturday, May 17th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A printable flyer is attached for your reference.

Your May feature is Beverly Meyer. Yes...SHE'S BAAAACK!!! Beverly has had a year full of life challenges that she has stalwartly overcome and we are so fortunate to have her on our stage once again. Equipped with new songs of hope and triumph, as well as some BaseLine favorites, Beverly will once again treat us to a 30 minute set beginning at 8:00 p.m. Welcome home, Beverly!

Hosting this month is our very own Alex Zakem. Alex is best known for his spectacular banjo playing and his comical bantering with his frequent performing partner Maggie. As host, Alex will entertain us with a few tunes and introduce the performers throughout the evening.

8 Open Mic spots available. (10 min limit for performances)
Musicians please sign-up between 6:15 and 6:45pm.
Feature artists perform a 30-minute set.
Donation of $7 at the door or annual memberships available.
