Jonathan Alder Bowling Fundraiser - Scotch Doubles 9-Pin No Tap Tournament

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 16th! The Jonathan Alder Varsity Boys Bowling Team will be hosting a fundraiser to raise money for their trip to the High School Nationals Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Grab your partner and come and support the bowling team! It's going to be a fun night for a great cause!

A Scotch Doubles 9-pin No Tap Tournament! $40 entry per team (a team is two people) with $20 going towards prize fund and lineage and $20 going to the bowling team. Preferably teams should consist of 1 man/1 woman or 2 women. Entry fee will be collected the day of tournament. Cash is preferred.

What is Scotch Doubles? Teams of 2 with the 1st bowler bowling the first ball of the frame, followed by the 2nd bowler rolling the second ball of the frame. If the 1st bowler strikes, the 2nd bowler will start the next frame.

What is 9-pin no tap? Knocking down nine or ten pins on the first ball of a frame is considered a strike.
