"Foundations" is a new take on growing a local community together through the spirit of great house music. Behind the music, is a safe, and unique place for local artists and fans to connect and grow. At its very core, Foundations is more than just a party, it's a shift in perspective. This new project is our way of giving back to a scene that’s shaped us, inspired us, and helped push Pittsburgh’s house music movement forward.
“Foundations” is rooted in the idea that strong scenes are built from the inside out. We have partnered with several amazing organizations to help make this experience a reality. A special thanks to our friends at Hop Farm Brewing Co. for the amazing space and opportunity, Manifest Sound System for that stomach punching sound, and BassPass a new live music & event technology platform. By investing in our own people, we strengthen the core of the community, one party at a time.
Let the music set you free, as we unite all flavors of deep, melodic, progressive, afro/latin, and everything in between. Brett Baum - Deep, Tech, and Bass House

Brett Baum is a longtime Pittsburgh-based DJ, known for his energy sets that blend the pulse of tech house, the grit of bass, and the depth of underground sounds. With a style that’s both raw and refined, Brett has carved out a niche sound that electrifies afterhours spaces and late-night club floors alike.
Drawing inspiration from Diplo, Skrillex, The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, and the industrial roots of his hometown, Brett’s performances are energetic, exciting, and memorable experiences, built on pure unfiltered energy and nostalgia.
Over the years, Brett has become a fixture in Pittsburgh’s evolving electronic music community. Brett holds a residency at the popular “Tilden” after-hours club in the center of downtown. His focus remains on growing the metro area electronic scene through his unique personality and curation of bass music, and his ability to control a room. For Brett, it’s never just about tracks, it's about unifying people, and making them move to his groove.

Introducing Bear Simsek aka "Brysk", a Pittsburgh native deep & melodic house DJ, with a passion for bringing refined European and Latin melodic house influences to the city. With a proven ability to move the soul with uplifting melodies, and delicious churning bass-lines, Bear has made a statement in the city's electronic music scene by building on the notable success as the co-creator of Foundations, Skylite and Pier Pressure series, Bear Brysk is always trying to push the envelope by bringing together the elements of his unique sound for everyone to enjoy.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of timeless electronic DJs and producers such as Chicane, Orbital, Sasha, ATB and Robbie Rivera. Bear Brysk has crafted a unique signature that takes listeners on a transformative adventure. Through his carefully curated sets, he drives a live music experience that transcends across multiple genres and disciplines. Whether he's performing on the rooftops, or down by the water, Bear Brysk’s seriously infectious energy never fails to captivate his audience, leaving them craving more of his soulful music.
