Terra Ceia XC Camp/ with special guest speaker Thomas Valles from McFarland, USA

Terra Ceia Christian School is proud to host the second annual Terra Ceia Cross Country and Distance Running Camp, open to all middle and high school runners. We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, Thomas Valles, best known for being the top runner on the legendary 1987 McFarland XC team depicted in the movie McFarland, USA. Please see the attached schedule for other guest college and high school coaches and athletes and the seminars/ workouts that will be offered. The cost for the camp ($160) includes 3 full days of seminars/workouts, lunch, drinks and snacks. Although athletes will be getting water bottles, we ask that they bring their own refillable one on the first day. They will also need to bring sun protection and a change of clothes each day. There will be a coaches clinic ($20) on Monday for any interested coaches which will also include attendance for the keynote speaker event on Monday evening. Anyone who is just attending the keynote speaker event will pay $10. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call Coach Mark or Coach Brandi at the information listed below. Links to sign up and pay are included below, and our camp is limited in space to 80. It is first come, first served basis. The cutoff date for registration is Monday, 7 July 2025. If for some reason you miss the cutoff date, email us and we’ll see what we can do (We know people!). We have many sponsors that we will recognize at a later date; but we are happy to partner with Fleet Feet in Greenville and Brooks. Athletes will be getting all kinds of “goodies” this year!!
