Need a break from your family and time around other homeschool moms? Me too! Let's get together to connect with each other, talk about homeschooling and offer some much-needed encouragement. Refreshments will be provided and if you'd like to bring something to share that would be awesome. Teens are welcome to come hang out too! There's a brand-new leadership program being proposed for the teens and it would be great to get their feedback.
We'll also have a planning meeting starting at 1:30 for the upcoming collective year. The reason we are a collective and not a group is the members are an integral part of planning what happens with the collective. We all bring our ideas to the table and then decide together what the majority would like to see. The following ideas will be proposed and discussed:
- Interest for adding academic classes
- New middle/ high school programming
- New sports & arts programming
- New volunteer structure
- Vote for the fall schedule/ calendar
Please bring your ideas, make a list of field trips you'd like to go on (we'll set this for the fall session) and have your teens tell you what they'd like for classes/events.
