This is a wonderful opportunity to ride on land that is privately owned, as well some that is held by the Orange County Land Trust. You will enjoy open fields and lots of shady woods.
Hunter pacing is for everyone! Whether you ride English, Western, Dressage, or anything in between, there's nothing like a day in the great outdoors to clear out the cobwebs and connect with your friends and horses.
You are encouraged to bring a dish to pass at our Potluck Lunch table. Let's make this an event where we can enjoy camaraderie, a meal together, and share the day's experiences.
Teams of 2-3 choose a division:
1. Hilltopping - the slowest pace - must start by 11:30 am
2. Novice - medium pace
3. Open - the fastest pace
Results are judged against a pre-determined ideal time set for each division by an experienced fox hunter. The teams closest to the optimum times in each division will win ribbons to 6th place.
We encourage competitive pacers to compete throughout the year in our High Point series with end-of-year WHH Pace Championship and awards.

Juniors: $40
You may register and pay on the day of the pace with a check or exact change due to unreliable cell service.

Approved protective headgear with a safety harness and boots with sturdy heels are required.
All courses are clearly marked.
Jumps are stone walls, coops, and natural obstacles to 3'.
Jumping is optional and all jumps have go-arounds.
