with Cassandra Sullivan
The aim of prāṇāyāma, or yogic breathwork, is the conscious regulation of prana, our life force energy. By guiding the breath, we influence the body, nervous system, and mind, and in turn, our overall well-being.
In this five-month series, meeting once a month, you’ll explore a variety of breathwork techniques—from simple breath awareness to practices that vitalize, harmonize, and soothe the system. Each session will help you cultivate a sustainable breathwork practice tailored to your unique needs, giving you tools to balance your energy.
Please note: Certain breathwork practices, especially those involving breath retention, have contraindications. If you are pregnant or have any respiratory, cardiovascular, or other medical conditions, please consult with the instructor before participating.
Class meets Saturdays, October 18, November 15, December 13, January 10, and February 7, 10:45-11:45 AM.
