St Just Earth Day

The Lafrowda Festival team are looking forward to seeing you in town for the Earth Day celebration!
There will be great entertainment in the Plen An Gwarry with storytelling, great bands, local performers and singing groups. Come and have a go at Eco crafts for all ages including wood carving and pottery. Also stalls from Environmental organisations and local nature groups.
With the theme of 'Local Food Links' we have teamed up with St Just Council to highlight the fruit & vegtables, meat, fish, dairy and various other goodies that local producers supply to shops, cafes, pubs and markets in St Just.
There will be stalls from Local Producers by The Clocktower. The weekly St. Just. Market. will be in the WI Hall where you will find a fantastic range of locally grown produce from Bosavern Community Farm, fresh fish and many other local handmade items. St Just Care and Repair Cafe will be in the yard of the WI hall for the day doing bike repairs. So if you have a bicycle that needs a bit of attention then bring it along for a bit of TLC!
The launch of the 'St Just Food Links' leaflet will also take place on Earth Day where you are invited to explore the worderful local produce stocked and used by the Cafes, shops and markets in St Just.
