108 Sun Salutations: A Summer Solstice Practice at Bayview Park with URU Yoga
Join us in sacred community as we honor the light within and around us through the ritual of 108 Sun Salutations. In celebration of the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year and a powerful turning point in nature’s cycle—we’ll move through this traditional sequence as an offering of devotion, transformation, and renewal.
The number 108 holds deep significance in yoga, symbolizing wholeness, cosmic order, and spiritual completion. This moving meditation invites you to shed layers, reset your inner compass, and reconnect with your breath, body, and intention.
Whether you complete all 108 or move in stillness and presence, this practice is not about perfection—it’s about showing up, honoring your process, and aligning with the power of the sun.
Modifications and rest are welcome at any time.
“Come as you are. Leave what no longer serves. Shine bright."
