Cornwall Comedian of the Year Semi Final with Hedluv and Passman

Verdant Taproom and Brewery proudly presents the semi-final of The Cornwall Comedian of the Year Competition. Back for its 4th year running the competition see's some of the finest up and coming comedic talent in the South West competing for a spot in the final to win the prestigious Jethro Cup along with a cash prize and a future paid headline spot with Kernow Comedy. 7-8 acts will show up to present their best ten minutes of comedy which the audience then vote for the top two plus a wild card to advance on to the final. These shows always sell out and have a great variety of acts for you to see.

As always the night is capped off with a headline act whilst we count the votes.

Hedluv and Passman

Performing for over 20 years now this comedic rap duo are one of the finest acts Cornwall has produced. Putting ‘casio rap’ on the map with many memorable hits. If you haven’t seen them before you are in for a treat and if you have.. we be doin it dreckly.


The evening will be hosted by Kernow Comedy's own Tom Rodgers.
