Ezell's Fish Camp RTE

Many of us remember Darryl Halbert from his sponsorship of the Georgia On My Mind (GOMM) events. GOMM is now transitioning to Catfish On My Mind (COMM).

Since Georgia and Colorado are separated by a few miles, it has precluded Darryl from continuing to organize the GOMM (Georgia On My Mind) RTE; therefore, he has decided to resurrect and co-sponsor the Ezell’s RTE in Lavaca, Alabama (geography isn’t his strong suit). Darryl indicated “co-sponsor.” Living in Colorado, even the month of May can bring iffy weather (i.e, blizzards), so Mike “Grizz” Newton has graciously accepted to co-host this endeavor. In the event Darryl can’t make it, Mike will carry the torch. Thanks, Grizz!

As not to ever interfere with anyone’s Mother’s Day or Memorial Day plans, going forward the third Saturday in May schedule will continue, barring any unforeseen circumstances. In the past, Ezell’s was one of the well-attended events, and Darryl am hopeful that level of interest remains.
