Learning to See II with Mariana Kastrinakis July 30, Aug 6, 12, 20

In this class, whether just joining or continuing from Part 1, students fine tune learning how to see and express their view of the world while adding painting to their craft. Both drawing and painting are part of this class, as they are essentials for all artistic growth. Instructors will work with students’ painting medium of choice. Participants will have the option to experiment with
and receive guidance in mixed media techniques (e.g. collage, pen and ink, oil and cold wax, and more) and even to add some 3-dimensional elements to embellish their art. An overriding focus of the session is on improving design and composition by exploring the abstract underpinnings of all good art.
