Hailing from the vibrant scene of Rochester, NY, Head to the Roots emerges as a compelling force in roots rock and folk rock music. Led by the charismatic singer-songwriter Anthony Siciliano, the band weaves soulful melodies and evocative narratives into their music, creating an experience that resonates deeply with audiences.
The journey began in 2018, followed by the release of two DIY EPs, Transitions and Seeker, which Anthony crafted meticulously in the acoustic haven of bedrooms and basements. Now, Head to the Roots is set to unveil their debut LP in 2024. Recorded at the esteemed 1809 Studio with producer Dave Drago at the helm, this album promises to showcase their evolution into a bold roots rock presence.
Beyond their studio prowess, Head to the Roots has carved out a reputation for electrifying live performances. They've shared the stage with luminaries such as Mikaela Davis & Southern Star, Ripe, The Nude Party, X Ambassadors, and Ghost Note, captivating crowds across the Northeast and making notable appearances at music festivals. With drummer Chris Palace anchoring their rhythm and a cadre of local talent adding depth to their sound, Head to the Roots embodies the spirit of modern Americana, blending rock's raw energy with folk's introspective storytelling. As they gear up for their LP release, Head to the Roots invites listeners to join them on a journey of musical discovery and emotional resonance.
