local author JANIS MACKAY

We are thrilled to welcome local author Janis Mackay to the bookshop to celebrate her first novel for adults. Janis has 12 children’s books published, most of which are set in Scotland and feature magical adventure and folklore.

'On a Northern Shore' is a haunted story of love and friendship, steeped in Celtic folklore, set in an untamed landscape and full of hope. Join us in the bookshop to hear from Janis about her writing life, her inspiration, knowledge of folklore and other muses.
