Charlie Brown and Fr. Garrett Galvin, OFM
Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Moon and Stars. In heaven you have formed them, lightsome and precious and fair.
Celebrate the 800-year anniversary of The Canticle of the Creatures, written by St. Francis of Assisi during the last two years of his life. This poetic text will serve as our guide through a rich, three-day retreat experience with music, theatre, contemplation, and spiritual direction. Our time together will be woven into the Our Lady of the Angels Church's Transitus service and Feast Day Mass, grounding us in tradition as we lift our hearts in praise.
The Canticle continues to inspire through its imagery and lyrical meaning that all creatures are part of one divine family. We will immerse ourselves in Francis's call to see all of Creation as brothers and sisters, united in God's boundless love. May this beauty continue to inspire us to live with reverence, joy, and gratitude.
Fee, including meals: $325 Single Room; $175 Commuter. Pre-registration required.
