Final Friday w/ L.E. Williams June 27th

This upcoming Final Friday, June 27 is the official art opening of Colorado local artist L.E. Williams from 5-7pm.

Born in Colorado Springs in 1986 and except for a short time in Tucson, Arizona, has always called Colorado home. Lance came to be a student at Mesa State after living in Grand Junction since his elementary days. It was around 2009, while working towards a degree in graphic design, he fell in love with painting and the idea of complete creative freedom. After graduating with a graphic design degree in 2011, Lance has been intent on improving his artistic skillset, primarily with acrylic paint. His practice has ranged from adding characters to unwanted Goodwill prints to large, original works. His subjects and inspiration is rooted in surrealism, the landscape of the American west, and nature as a whole. We are very excited to be hosting him here!

The happy hour live music performance that evening from 5-7pm will be featuring the gothic Americana and gypsy-folk-rock music of Scrapper Jacks with Jon Hickam. We will see you soon for another month of incredible fine art and community music events!
