Chaverut is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local Jewish teens to connect.
Come benefit from an hour or two of self care with other Jewish teens!
Teens are welcome to join us for:
Relaxation stations: hair braiding, crafts, refreshments
Mr. Softee soft-serve truck
Clubs and Jewish organizations fair
"The New Jew: Days at War" (partial) screening, followed by moderated conversation with guest speaker Amy Albertson, about Jewish American identity.
This event is intended for any teens who are — or would like to — become more involved in their Jewish communities. Anyone who is curious about what it means to be a Jew in the Bay Area is welcome! Club leaders, members, youth group participants, students who are not currently involved — all are welcome.
This event is about building and celebrating our community, and that includes everyone.
We are hoping to create a cross-school network and increase teen interest in local Jewish community happenings. We also hope to celebrate our people's resilience after a tumultuous year.
