Come From Away is based on the true story of how, on September 11, 2001, the isolated island community of Gander, Newfoundland, welcomed 38 planes carrying thousands of passengers from across the globe. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, they cheered the stranded travelers with music, kindness and an open bar.
A touch tour will take place at 12:30pm prior to the audio described performance. The touch tour will begin in the Regent main foyer and access will be the side entrance of the foyer, up the mobility ramp located in the Regent Arcade, accessible from both Broadway and King Street.
